Field Service Engineer – Semiconductor Process Equipment
Ventex Corporation is a rapidly growing global services company specializing in the refurbishment, sales, and service of semiconductor process equipment. Our corporate mission is to provide chip-makers with quality, cost-effective solutions for photolithography steppers and scanners. To support our expanding service needs, we are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in delivering cost-effective solutions to our worldwide semiconductor fabrication customers. This key individual will work closely with the Service Department and utilize diverse technical skills and an electro-mechanical background to support, maintain, and repair i-line steppers and deep UV scanners.
In support of our growing service needs we are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in engineering cost-effective solutions for our world-wide semiconductor fab customers. Working closely with the Service Department this key individual will utilize his/her diverse technical skills and electro-mechanical background to support, maintain, and repair i-line steppers and deep UV scanners.
Principal responsibilities:
* Execute project plans for system installations or service needs
* Perform real time problem solving in pressure environments
* Provide ideas to develop modifications and improvements to existing OEM designs.
* Interface closely with fellow field service engineers in supporting customer services.
* Manage the day-to-day services of assigned projects and their scope, including conflicting project priorities.
* Provide service project updates, deliverables and risks.
* Interface with Ventex resources to ensure system projects meet their objectives.
* Be available for local and worldwide travel
Minimum qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree, Trade School Degree, or equivalent preferred.
* 4-5 years of work experience, particularly with Canon, ASML, or Nikon steppers and scanners
* Electrical and/or mechanical experience preferred.
* Automation and/or controls experience a big plus.
* Optics experience a big plus.
* Field service experience working on photolithography semiconductor equipment
* Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
