About the position As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be part of a team that enables scalable, secure, and observable platforms for high-impact domains like traffic monitoring, tolling, and public infrastructure. You support product and data teams by providing self-serve infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring smooth operations across cloud and hybrid environments. Your focus will depend on your chosen expertise - ranging from platform automation, monitoring & reliability, security, CI/CD tooling, to cloud-native architecture. No matter where you dive in, you’ll help shape how we build, deploy, and run systems that serve millions of users and meet the highest regulatory standards. Your profile Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including workload orchestration, Helm, and cluster operations Proficient in infrastructure-as-code and configuration management Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CICD Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managing cloud-native resources securely and cost-effectively Strong understanding of observability practices Comfortable working in an agile, cross-functional environment Enthusiastic about automation, platform thinking, and treating infrastructure as a product Very good communication skills in both English and German A bachelor's degree in a STEM or similar discipline (advanced degrees a plus) Why us?
