About the role Taktile is a high-growth, post-product-market-fit startup on a fast trajectory to becoming the market leader in automated decisions. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Taktile, you will be pivotal in shaping our cloud operations and software delivery practices. You will lead and mentor our dynamic SRE team, contributing your expertise to drive reliability and efficiency across our infrastructure. This position is open for either our HQ in Berlin or our development hub in Iasi, Romania. A strong grasp of written and spoken English is a must to effectively and clearly communicate in our hybrid environment. What You'll Do Lead and optimize the operation of our cloud-native multi-region infrastructure using AWS Lambda and other cloud technologies. Collaborate with the platform team to deploy, scale, and troubleshoot our services in the cloud environment. Drive improvements in our software delivery pipeline, ensuring efficient and reliable deployments through advanced automation and CI/CD practices. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of our systems using cutting-edge monitoring and observability tools. Provide tactical support to development teams, enabling them to deliver high-quality software through effective infrastructure and tooling support. Enhance and evolve our infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Packer, and Helm. Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our information security and reliability engineering practices. Ensure our infrastructure and company works at the highest security standards while working to maintain conformity with ISO 27001 and SOC2 requirements. Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Utilize your programming skills to automate complex tasks and develop tools that significantly improve operational efficiency. Ideal, But Not Required Experience enhancing security in a SaaS company. Familiarity with ISO 27001 and SOC2 compliance. Required Experience Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. Deep expertise in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Packer, and Helm. Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and associated tools like Git and GitHub Actions. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Strong written and spoken English skills for effective communication.
