We need a system engineer for design of Statcom application with active power storage for FACTS installation. You will be technically responsible within the team of experts for the design and dimensioning of the main components of a Statcom. These components are the transformer, converter and the storage system. You will work in a collaborative environment with guided onboarding. If you want to start your career in energy technology after graduating and are you motivated to put your knowledge into practice? Then we look forward to receiving your application! How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Responsibility for evaluation of project requirements and calculation of the technical parameters for the design and rating of the main equipment in a project
2. Analysis of potential interaction between Statcom installation and the transmission grid
3. Development and validation of calculation tools (Matlab) and simulation models for EMT simulation tools (, PSCAD/EMTDC)
4. Conducting trainings and presentation of design results to customers
5. Support for tender and project management with expertise in technical discussions and customer meetings
