Short description
As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of offshore projects. You will collaborate with employees of varied nationalities and disciplines and you might work on board of vessels, on the project site or in one of the offices.
Function description
* Project Engineering: Lead the engineering aspects of projects from start to finish, ensuring successful outcomes.
* Method Statements: Create comprehensive method statements outlining procedures for offshore work execution.
* On-Site Implementation: Be hands-on in implementing method statements effectively during on-site operations.
* Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor project installation progress, and make necessary optimizations to support the Works Manager or Superintendent.
* Communication: Act as a vital link, facilitating communication between project sites/vessels and the office.
Requirements
* Education: Hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Offshore Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related engineering field.
* Experience: Demonstrate relevant project management experience, which is pivotal for success in this role.
* Willingness to Travel: Be open to international assignments, which may involve working on vessels, project sites, or in-office.
* Language Skills: Possess fluency in both verbal and written English, and be able to communicate clearly with colleagues from different backgrounds.
* Team Player: Exhibit strong teamwork and collaboration skills, fostering a cooperative work environment.
