Engineer (m/f/d) Asset management and basic planning
We, FairNetz GmbH, are the grid operator in Reutlingen as well as in many municipalities in the region and ensure the reliable and sustainable operation of electricity, natural gas, district heating and drinking water grids with over 300 employees. We are actively shaping the energy transition with state-of-the-art technology, intelligent distribution grids, the integration of renewable energies, innovative digitalization strategies and the promotion of electromobility.
Your tasks
Implementation and continuous further development of (technical) asset management
Process responsibility in the area of connection point assessment (low voltage) for devices, consumption and generation facilities requiring approval
Independent and future-oriented calculation of the integration possibilities of photovoltaic systems and electric charging stations with the help of “Envelio”
Independent processing of issues and development of concepts and solutions in the areas of basic planning, target grid planning, grid model development and use of intelligent equipment
Contact person (m/f/d) for special and research projects in the field of grid development and future design in the area of digitalization and smart grid
Your qualifications
Completed Bachelor of Engineering or Dipl.- Ing. (FH) degree, ideally with several years of professional experience
Team spirit, communication skills and enthusiasm
Enjoy working independently and willingness to take on responsibility, including in projects
Good IT user skills (MS Office etc.)
Driving license class B

Remuneration
Our remuneration is based on the TV-V collective agreement and, in the case of RSV, the WBO collective agreement. Each job is evaluated and remunerated according to performance.
Pension scheme according to TV-V
The costs of a supplementary pension scheme are covered to a large extent. In addition, private pension provision is subsidized as part of deferred compensation.
Working hours and annual leave
Our working hours are 39 hours per week. Depending on the position and where possible, flexible working hours or flexitime models are offered. Annual leave is 30 working days.

Job ticket
Employees who use local public transport receive a monetary subsidy towards the cost of tickets.

Active week
Every three years, we offer our employees a week’s active vacation in one of our contracted hotels. We cover the costs of accommodation and half board for the employee. And they get two additional vacation days in return.
Kaleidoscope concerts
There is no shortage of culture: the Württembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen organizes around 8 Kaleidoskop concerts every year. We raffle off 35 free tickets per event among our employees.
