The Process Engineer Operations is responsible for technical and process support for daily business in Operations to drive quality, safety, cost, in time and plant effectiveness.
Furthermore, the Process Engineer Operations is responsible for the design, planning, coordination and execution of projects to optimize production processes.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Process Improvements - Find, coordinate and implement improvement opportunities for production & reliability in alignment with Engineering department. Technical support of production trials. Implement Lean Six Sigma Tools and methodologies.
2. Projects - Project management of technical projects, or contributing to them, developing concepts, being responsible for coordination and execution of projects.
3. Troubleshooting - Support of production & maintenance department in daily operation, e.g. trouble shooting of complex issues in operations. Execute and implement actions from root cause analysis (RCA).
4. Know-How-Transfer - Know How development and sustainable transfer to relevant stakeholders e.g. engineering, maintenance, operators and other locations. Transfer of production and engineering knowhow from other sites to HH. Build and utilize networks within and outside of the organization.
5. Leading - Guidance and management of teams without a direct line manager function. Coordination of interfaces between production, technical, engineering department, 3rd party engineering and contractors. Participation in the on-call service after training period (Werksrufbereitschaft).
6. Standards - Development and supervising implementations of internal and external standards.
7. Safety - Active involvement in ensuring occupational safety in production & maintenance. Supporting projects with specific expertise.
Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
8. Master or similar degree in Engineering - ideally Process / Chemical Engineering
9. Work experience in process engineering and project management
10. Good knowledge and experience in data collection and the use of analytical tools - route cause analysis, identifying CI opportunities
11. Strong knowledge in MS Office
12. Both English and German - fluent spoken and written (min level C1)
Desirable requirements:

15. Working knowledge of SAP, PCS7, PowerBI
