Job Description We are on the look out for an Engineering Manager - Supply Chain Domain, in Quick Commerce Operations to join our team to help us create a state-of-the-art Supply Chain solutions to improve SKU availability in our DMarts and get the best item from the right supplier at the right time with the right price to the right DMart. You will lead one of the Supply Chain squads, an experienced team with a mix of backend and front-end engineering skills that has been developing solutions for the Supply Chain domain. Together, we will optimize the customer experience across more than 10 million orders per day, delivering solutions at scale. Projects include but are not limited to designing and analyzing experiments to understand supply and demand, how to ensure maximum availability while taking into account to develop simulation environments to test different scenarios of Supply Chain including purchasing, transfer operations and parent-child relationships among DMarts and Distribution centers etc. We pride ourselves on our ability to connect research and theory to practical problems, and to bring our solutions to production systems. Help to plan short, medium and long term strategy for the Supply Chain domain. Collaborate with product, business and other tech teams to prioritize, plan and execute projects to solve problems in the supply chain. Empower team to develop solutions end-to-end from inception to production-grade systems - including research & prototyping, gathering data requirements, cross-team alignment, product development, experimentation, deployment and monitoring. In close collaboration with the team’s product manager, you will both lead projects, manage stakeholder expectations and dependencies, do continuous prioritization, alignment, and cost management. You’ll be expected to play an active role in evolving our overall architecture, especially for systems and products owned by your team. You will be expected to contribute to scaling different processes of the organization, such as engineering hiring and onboarding.
