Enhancing our startup scoring system, to allow for more sophisticated ways of recommending startups Enhancing architecture for crawling. Improving the maintainability & scalability of our architecture for crawling Improving system for entity-resolutio n. Increasing the accuracy & scalability of our entity-resolution system Our core stack includes Python, Apache Airflow and PostgreSQL. We work in Google Cloud Platform, making use of services like Cloud Composer, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions. What we hope you bring to the role: Your have a user-centric mindset to solving engineering problems You have 3-5 years of experience working in a data- or backend oriented software engineering position You are proficient in SQL You are proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Python (Experience with Python is preferred but not required) Work experience within a agile, startup-like environment is preferred but not required Relevant work authorization for the country you intend to work in Interview Process As a first step in the interview process you'll meet a member of the Engineering team to talk about your background, motivations and to ask us any questions you might have. Depending on the role, we'll then schedule a Coding Interview and a System Design Interview to evaluate your technical skills. Finally, you'll get a chance to meet the entire Engineering team and to talk to one of EarlyBird's partners as well.
