Engineer Customer Support Applications (m|f|d)
Our client is a leading global provider of advanced equipment and solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industries.
As a Customer Support Applications Engineer, you will:
* Provide both remote and on-site customer support, including the analysis of measurement data and the development of customized measurement solutions.
* Prepare detailed test reports and deliver presentations to customers.
* Configure measuring instruments for customer-specific applications and perform acceptance tests in the factory.
* Conduct final acceptance tests at the customer’s site to ensure satisfaction.
* Train customers and employees on the proper use and maintenance of the instruments.
* Perform measurements to assess the performance of the instruments and sensors based on customer requirements, and document test measurements and feasibility studies.
* Support the sales team with product demonstrations and offer technical advice to customers.
What You Bring:
* A successfully completed degree in physics, electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related technical field.
* Initial experience in technical customer support or a similar role.
* Knowledge in semiconductor technology, spectroscopy, solid-state physics, or optics is advantageous.
* Willingness to travel up to 30%.
* Strong problem-solving skills, customer-focused approach, and the ability to work well in a team.
* Presentation and project management skills.
* Proficiency in German and English.
* Good command of MS Office applications.
