ABAKUS IT Solutions is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to support the development and maintenance of automation toolchains and contribute to IT infrastructure design and automation initiatives. Responsibilities Develop and maintain automation toolchains based on validated designs Analyze business requirements to design and implement technical solutions and frameworks Create and deliver Ansible artefacts (modules, roles, playbooks), Python scripts, and infrastructure configurations Participate in project meetings to provide input on automation and contribute to infrastructure design Maintain and update automation toolchain documentation to reflect ongoing changes Assist the operational team by providing insights and solutions for incidents, problems, and defects related to automation Organize and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to enhance operational team skills Requirements Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ICT, including at least 2 years in automation, SRE, or DevOps roles Ability to learn and explore new technologies independently Strong understanding of IT concepts across all layers of the technology stack Experience working with public institutions or EU-related environments is a plus Knowledge of ITIL V3 principles is a plus Technical skills Storage: HPE 3PAR, HPE Primera, HPE Storeonce (backup), VEEAM, Ceph - VMware Operating Systems: RHEL, MS Windows Physical Infrastructure: HPE ILO, rack management systems Networking: Cisco ACI, switching, routing, Firewalling, load balancing Python (with testing frameworks like PyTest and testinfra) Linux Shell scripting Experience with: Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation Platform GIT and Version Control workflows Test-driven development practices Soft skills Attention to detail and analytical thinking Ability to work autonomously and make data-driven decisions Commitment to following and improving best practices Strong communication and writing skills Why join ABAKUS IT solutions At ABAKUS IT Solutions, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
