Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and production site for power MOS transistors with around 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory with 300 mm technology in Itzehoe, which will be ready for production from 2026. We are looking for talent to join Global R&D team at Itzehoe as Sr. Wafer Test Engineer MOSFET.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* To strengthen parametric wafer test capabilities for production and engineering
* Wafer test demand management in production: WAT, VRAMP, & UIS
* To play critical role in wafer test setup in foundries
* Manage test program updates
* Data analysis and automatic report generation
* Database support for MySQL databases
* Application of statistical methods (SPC)
* Collaboration with Global RnD team
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
* Advance degree in physics, electrical engineering or related field
* 3+ years of experience in Wafer Testing Engineering field
* 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry
* Experience in NPI
* experience with MOSFET is desired
* Good process and semiconductor knowledge, especially in the field of characterization
* Knowledge of SQL, data analysis and programming (Python, HTML) is an advantage
* Independence, analytical thinking, quality awareness
* Good written and verbal ability in German and English
* Experienced knowledge of C# or C++
* Willing to travel (>50% of working time)
