An extremely exciting medical-technology company is looking to hire their first Security Engineer to secure their SDLC and manage software vulnerabilities.
This position is advertised as remote to access a larger talent pool. Due to a heavy on-prem infrastructure, this position will require a minimum of 3 days onsite in Beilefeld, Germany. My client can provide relocation packages where applicable.
In order to be successful, you must be able to speak German at C1 level or above and English at B2 or above, and be an EU citizen or hold a Blue Card.
The client are very well funded by multiple VCs, and effectively use AI to assist with a range of surgeries. You will be working directly with the CTO, Product Engineers, AI engineers and IT Admins to ensure the security of their software.
You will need to have strong experience with software development (ideally Python), be able to perform threat modelling of system architectures and code, mitigate software vulnerabilities, and be highly skilled in Linux.
Due to the importance of this role, no salary banding has been set, they are looking to speak with the best individuals, and therefore will pay accordingly.
