:
1. Designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded software for real-time systems on ARM-based microcontrollers and C2000 real-time microcontrollers
2. Developing drivers, abstraction layers, and hardware interfaces
3. Integrating real-time operating systems and middleware components
4. Conducting system tests, troubleshooting, and optimizing code for performance and resource consumption
5. Leading firmware system concept development for high-precision metrology applications, such as axial force transducers, active magnetic bearings, and vector control of permanent magnet synchronous and three-phase asynchronous motors
6. Deep understanding of electrical machines and their controls, particularly permanent magnet (EC-) and three-phase asynchronous motor topologies
7. Expertise in optimizing motor and temperature control loops
8. Experience in validating electric machine controls, sensors, and actuators through prototyping and laboratory testing
9. Collaborating with hardware and firmware teams to design and validate embedded system architectures
10. Documenting design decisions, interfaces, and software configurations
Required Qualifications:
11. Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
12. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in embedded software development with a focus on real-time programming
13. Proficient in C and C++, with experience in ARM architectures and TI C2000 microcontrollers
14. Practical experience in real-time operating system (RTOS) development and low-level programming
15. Good understanding of communication protocols (, UART, SPI, I2C) and peripheral devices
16. Experience with debugging tools and hardware debuggers for microcontrollers.
17. Ability to analyze technical challenges, develop creative solutions, and work in multidiscipinary teams
18. Good written and verbal communication skills in German and English
19. Experience in developing secure and reliable embedded software for industrial applications
20. Knowledge of developing real-time applications for control and regulation systems
21. Experience with modeling tools like Matlab/Simulink for system development
22. Basic knowledge of FPGA programming and digital circuit design
