The Field Technical Service Engineer (mfd) is responsible for conducting service, repair andor installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, diagnoses of system failures within an assigned territory. This position reports to the Area Service Manager and is part of the Cytiva Service Team located in Germany South working remotely to cover Service Task in Germany South Munich Area.__ At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. What you will do: Independently perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on our standard and customized systems, including chromatography, protein & cell therapy systems as well as filter integrity testers, after receiving appropriate training Proactively plan and execute customer visits as part of service contracts, projects, and maintenance blocks, establishing long-term and trusted customer relationships, with timely document customer visits and services Support sales account managers and sales specialists, actively assisting with service product sales and collaborate with internal partners to generate new equipment leads and support growth initiatives Who you are: You have successfully completed electrical engineering education or hold a Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or Technical Assistant (MTA, CTA, LTA) or equivalent You bring 2 years of experience in field service and hold a valid driver’s license You are fluent in both spoken and written German and English, with a genuine passion for working in a multicultural environment It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: You possess strong technical-analytical skills and problem-solving abilities Basic knowledge of chromatography or similar technologies is advantageous.
