For the location at Manching we are currently looking for a
Hardware / Software Assurance Engineer (m/w/d)
Tasks and responsiblities:
1. Discuss with the Airworthiness / Certification Authorities the Certification Baseline and the level of involvement of the authorities
2. Monitoring Supplier Development: Ensure that the supplier performs its activities in compliance with RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178, applicable CRIs or guidelines
3. control of processes with traceability, validation and verification, supervision of Requirements Based Engineering, Control over SEU, (Single Event Upset) and Robustness of the equipment assigned, etc.
4. Preparation of Reviews with Airworthiness / Certification Authorities
5. Define the required documentation that our customer shall receive at each milestone of the Hardware and Software development according to RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178
6. Report that the compliance can be demonstrated as being consistent with the criticality/safety requirements and the program development schedule
Your profile:
7. University degree in engineering, aerospace or an appropriate qualilfication
8. several years of experience in Configuration Management, Electrical engineering/electronics
9. Experience in SW- and/or HW-DevelopmentSsolid
10. Experience in Requirements engineering
11. Experience with Complex Electronic Hardware devices, e. g. microcoded components, such as ASICs, PLDs, and complex COTS components
12. Knowledge of standards like RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178
13. Fluent German and English skill - spoken and written
14. Self-reliant and systematic way of working
15. stress-resistant
16. Ability to work in an international team
