Ihre Aufgaben:
* Participating in testing on both converter level and submodule level of a Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) prototype, while considering test procedures and safety measures in line with standards
* Contributing to data logging and test agenda keeping related to testing activities and daily test observations
* Specification of power electronics components for MMC to improve performance and optimize cost
* Reviewing/analysing datasheets and getting in touch with the manufacturers for qualification of appropriate components
* Collaboration with different teams like Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and etc. to evaluate/analyse the system behaviour from different perpectives
* Going through different documentation for signals used in the system and simulation environment and creating new signals in database, whenever needed
* Troubleshooting possible problems and bugs related to communication of controllers or equipment, such as PLC, FPGAs, oscilloscope, LabView, etc.
* Simulations in Matlab/Simulink on the already existing converter model under different failure scenarios to observe the system behaviour and provide primary fault analysis
* Eager to participate in (learn, if necessary) Reliability analysis and Failure Mode Cause and Effect Analysis (FMCEA) studies for the MMC
Ihre Qualifikationen:
* You are a graduate of Electrical Engineering (preferrably Power Electronics), preferably having MSc degree
* You solid experience, especially with testing of power converters, more experienced candidates will be evaluated accordingly
* You are eager to prepare technical documentation and make updates/modifications according to peer reviews
* You tackle complex problems with creativity and analytical thinking
* You have good knowledge on Matlab/Simulink
* You are interested in advancing your career in a technically oriented international environment
* You see working together in intercultural teams as a chance to grow personally and drive innovations forward
* You have good knowledge on measurement devices and use of oscilloscope
* You have good knowledge of written and spoken English, German advantageous
* Knowledge on MMC and/or medium voltage converters and knowledge on reliability analysis and FMCEA advantageous
