An international medical device manufacturer based in The Netherlands has an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their small but growing operation.
Under the guidance of the Business Development Manager, the Junior Service Engineer, will act as the first point of contact for aftersales topics for their customers. Whether the customer is facing a technical issue, requires training, or wants to upgrade their system, they will reach out to you.
TYPE: Full-time role, initially 1 year contract (potential to become permanent)
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week (Core time: 9:30 – 16:30)
SALARY: €50k including holiday allowance + Business Trip Allowance
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Nieuw-Vennep, The Netherlands (MAX 60% Business Trip, hybrid working style)

Junior Service Engineer Responsibilities:
Technical support:
•The majority of the role will initially consist of providing technical support
•Installation of their products and software upgrades at customers, focusing on the European and US Market
•Assistance with the final acceptance tests of the systems before they leave the factory
•Supporting remote and on-site troubleshooting for all customers
Services to be consider could include:
Technical training:
•Providing and maintaining technical training modules for our end-users -These modules can range from unpacking and installation to preventive maintenance and repair tasks
User training:
•Providing and maintaining user trainings for our end-users - These modules can range from first start-up training up to masterclasses
Global service centres:
•Supporting customers, they’re looking for the most sustainable and efficient way
making use of their global network of branches and distributors.
Junior Service Engineer Ideal Candidate:
•Intermediate technical degree (mts), affinity with mechanical, electrical and software components
•Minimum of 3 years relevant service and support experience selling in the technical industry
•Bring a demonstrated ability to grow our services activities
•Speak fluent English, in addition a socond language is advantageous
•Commercially and goals driven, customer oriented, autonomous, self-starter, pro-active, acting fast
•Well-developed business acumen, you like bringing new ideas to contribute to future strategy
•Strong presentation skills, in face-to-face, videoconference or webinar setup, familiar with social and digital medium
•Multi-cultural sensitivity with the ability to talk with academic people and highly educated customers, adapting your style to the local culture and usages
•Ability to build strategic relationships with customers, partners, distributors and their overseas sales, and colleagues
