ITility seeks a talented USAFE A4R Mechanical Engineer to support our contract with the United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE). This role will sit onsite at Ramstein, AFB, Ger many. Be responsible for enhancing logistics readiness/mobilization and support effectiveness through policy input, development and analyses of Operational Plans (OPLANs), Contingency Plans (CONPLAN), and Expeditionary Site Plans (ESP). Conduct and coordinate logistics planning efforts that impacts USAFE and USEUCOM. Conduct Expeditionary Combat Support planning and supportability assessments. Identify and help resolve complex logistics problems in the European area of responsibility. Participate in and may lead multi-service planning efforts. Lead logistically focused Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) in identifying, analyzing, and developing feasible solutions to future logistics readiness requirements. Solve operational logistics supportability problems, including logistics deployment, sustainment, and redeployment of United States Air Force (USAF) forces into and out of the EUCOM theater. Provide advice to leadership in reference to significant issues and problems that could impact the achievement of operational goals and objectives. Assist the organization by evaluating modifications to existing plans in response to changing environments Represent USAFEIA4 at USAF, EUCOM, and other Joint Service readiness planning conferences. Prepare plans, budgets, and schedules for assigned programs and participates with senior analysts in fiscal planning and programming. The Contractor must have significant knowledge of USAF and Department of Defense logistics tools and systems to provide technical support to ensure Site Survey data is captured in the systems of record. Provide personnel that meet, at a minimum, the education and experience requirements as defined in Appendix B to the A&AS V IDIQ PWS for Military Planner. Perform exercise development tasks to complement team efforts to properly design, plan, prepare, coordinate, and execute assigned exercises. Plan or participates in concept development workshops, initial planning workshops, mid-planning workshops, and final planning workshops for assigned exercises. Prepares briefings and other required materials. Coordinate with operational and functional commands for their participation and support. Assist with assessment, design, development, implementation management and testing of current and prospective exercise programs. Conduct after action Reviews and prepares After Action Reports. Develops, reviews and revises plans. Performs one or more of the following or related activities: Develops war plans and contingency operations plans for one or more functional areas. Provides guidance and technical assistance in the development of plans and orders to support real world contingencies and military training exercises. Plans, reviews, coordinates, evaluates, and integrates actions required to support current and future operational missions. Assesses operational readiness and determines capability of units, commanders and staff elements; develops, reviews and revises military training plans and standards. Specific tasks include but are not limited to the following: Review strategic plans to ensure they are prepared to optimize combat support, support personnel, equipment and resources IAW governing guidance and doctrine. Reviews battlefield operating systems, conducts front-end analysis and develops related intelligence products and analysis. Provides mission analysis, drafts concepts of the operation, courses of action, and correlation of force and means associated with designated missions/plans. Drafts supporting war plans that are both operational plans and contingency plans. Participates in extensive coordination meetings with the Theater intelligence organizations, US national intelligence community, US component officials (USAFE, USAREUR, NAVEUR, MARFOR) and military community to identify intelligence needs and develop recommendations for solutions. Provides recommendations for interoperable intelligence systems and capabilities in US only, as well as, in a coalition environment. Prepares and presents seminars, briefings & staff exercises to ensure continuity of action and proficiency of purpose. Provides support to address current contingency operations and potential, related follow-on operations and support scenario development and exercise planning. Provides analysis of battle staff planning concerning Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) supporting contingency operations in the European AOR Documents & analyzes leadership of former/current commanding intelligence leaders. Systematically records insights, concepts, problem identification and solutions, etc., of the leadership in lessons learned format. Provides professional military intelligence strategy advice and assistance in support of the most senior command leadership to maximize effectiveness. Drafts and revises intelligence inputs / annexes to plans. Bachelor's degree and 10 years of directly related military experience; OR 15 years of directly related military experience. This position requires an Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Must have demonstrated practical experience in the area(s) of expertise required in the Task Order, Performance Work Statement. Professional Engineer or PMP required Prior experience supporting the DoD or the US Military preferred.
