Purpose of the position Project One is creating harmonized ways of working within the whole Intersnack group by consolidated business processes, which are supported by a common IT solution stack. Currently, a team consisting of more than 20 nationalities and 100 colleagues work in the project to achieve this goal. You'll be supposed to drive the harmonization of testing by implementing harmonized testing methods across all countries and organisations of the Intersnack Group to enable a smooth transition towards automatization of testing on site. You'll act in collaboration with Local Quality Managers and Central Laboratory Manager supporting the local implementation and adaption of standard methods. Furthermore, you take ownership for establishing, enhancing and maintaining standardized testing methods, implementing group wide round robin tests, creating trainings and supporting documents to achieve a successful implementation and transition into local organisations. Responsibilities Develop and maintain harmonized quality inspection methods to ensure product compliance. Lead the qualification and support the local implementation of new standardized testing methods. Create and update SOPs, guidelines, and relevant documentation. Establish a central calibration hub to enhance testing efficiency. Organize and analyse group-wide round robin tests to ensure consistent quality control. Conduct trainings and workshops to support local teams in adopting standardized methods. Assist the central laboratory and local teams in interpreting measurement results. Education University Degree in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related field. Experience At least 5 years in laboratory operations, in-line measurement, and hands-on work with different techniques and instruments, preferably in the food industry. Technical Skills Strong experience in analytical instrument qualification,system validation and verification. Knowledge of ISO 17025, GFSI standards (e.g.ISO 22000, IFS, BRC) AIB standards. Strong IT skills, with an understanding of IT-supported processes. Soft Skills Strong facilitation and communication abilities. A consulting mindset to influence without direct authority. Ability to work in a multi-country, multicultural environment. A self-starter with a solution-driven mindset. Language: Fluent English and German (additional languages spoken within Intersnack are a plus). Willing to travel – expected level of travel of this position is approx. 10-20% / week.
