The primary role of this job is to serve as the functional link between Sales, Operations, Research and Development, Sustaining Engineering and Product Line Management with regards to the support of existing and new technology.
Oversight and Development of region technical standards in engineering, sales and operations. Generate Sales and increase revenue at the Regional Level through sale of Products and Services following designed Technical & sales objectives, policies, and programs to achieve maximum Sales at the highest return to the Company and introduction of the new technologies and capabilities for NOV Completion & Production.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Complete all safety training, training plan and competency standards as set out in the position within company guidelines.
2. Must have a good knowledge and understanding of on location rigs, coiled tubing Tools, Completion Tools / System & Liner Hanger System
3. Prepare, complete and submit accurate & thorough end of well reports on a timely basis to the Operations Manager/ Field Service Manager.
4. Work in compliance with (ISO/ API / SCC)
5. Ability to install advanced completion tools equipment according to operating procedures or within the scope of its intended use.
6. Ability to perform advanced downhole hydraulic calculations.
7. Prepare JSA (Job Safety Analysis) for wellsite operations.
8. Ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems.
9. Participates in CAT (Corrective Action Teams) to implement corrective/preventive actions.
10. Required to be available on a 24-hour call basis as needed.
11. Show willingness and flexibility to perform other tasks as instructed by the Operations Manager/Field Service Manager.
12. Report any unsafe activities or injuries to HSE Manager immediately and also immediate manager.
13. Be aware of your responsibilities, accountabilities, tasks, and goals for health, safety, and environmental protection.
14. Work within an established geographical area to generate new business, increase revenue and service existing customer.
15. Ensure developed Marketing/Sales initiatives and objectives are followed in a harmonious manner with NOV Completion & Production, objectives and plans
16. Provide technical knowledge and support to customers. Assist other sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues of the products. Attend classroom instructional sessions aimed at product line specific training.
17. Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency
18. Monitor technical content of job proposals generated in field and sales to ensure technical standards are being upheld
19. Assist and support new product introduction / development
20. Develop and present technical courses, both internally and to external clients.
21. Provide field technical support as needed.
22. May assist sales personnel in the preparation of bids
23. Meets with customers to develop and design products and services
24. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
25. Monitor District, Field and Trainee Engineers career development process
26. Develop regional marketing communications material in support of new product / service launches and overall marketing strategy.
27. Assist in technical investigations and problem Job reporting
28. Design and develop new applications and scenarios to fulfill customer requirements and objectives with highest efficiency
29. Maintain sales contacts with key customers.
30. Advises sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues that affect the installation or sales of products and/or services of the organization
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
31. Minimum of 1-2 year experience in Field Experience or equivalent
32. Minimum of 2-3 year experience in Application Engineering Experience or equivalent.
33. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
