Do you strive to understand how electronics work, and enjoy debugging, coding and/or solving technical problems? If so, a Field Applications Engineer internship may be the role for you. This internship is designed to establish you as a broad technical TI expert with customer engineers and internal teams, and to teach you how functional product characteristics correlate to system-level requirements. Demonstrate your technical competency on product selection, systems, implementation and debug, as you prepare for a career as a Field Applications Engineer.
Field Applications Engineer (FAE) Intern responsibilities include:
1. Research on Power architectures & Industry Trends for Motor Drives
2. Get into TI’s hardware portfolio with focus on Motor Drives Applications (Example here: https://www.ti.com/solution/ac-drive-power-stage-module)
3. Create and understand block diagrams based on customers applications
4. Document your results in a presentable way to discuss the application with the customer
5. Get hands-on experience in the daily job of a Field Application Engineer focusing on industrial Applications

Your Qualifications:
6. Student of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
7. Fluent in German and English, both written and oral communication skills
8. Basic understanding of semiconductors, electrical systems, schematics and analog components
9. Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.)
10. Be passionate about solving technical challenges and enjoy to have technical conversations with external and internal counterparts
Preferred Qualifications:
11. MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
12. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
13. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
14. Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
