Each team would have 1 backend, 1 frontend and 1 UAT tester. 5 teams now, and we will be adding 6 th team soon. Teams generally have product owner, scrum master, android, iOS, backend, frontend developers and backend, frontend, UAT testers. Total team size is around 8-12. My client launched its first product, a digital credit card, several years ago. Since then, the company has grown rapidly, recently acquiring a £500 million credit card portfolio from a major bank and key partnerships with global players. Backed by several large private equity funds, my client is pursuing an ambitious growth strategy that includes the provision of consumer credit in partnership with leading consumer brands. Several partnerships have already been secured and there is an exciting pipeline of opportunities. Your tasks Develop and maintain automated test cases for REST APIs using a robust automation framework. Work closely with backend developers to ensure APIs are reliable, performant, and secure. Write efficient, scalable Java code to support backend test automation. Identify and report defects, ensuring they are resolved promptly and efficiently. Enhance existing test frameworks and recommend improvements in automation practices. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Bitrise. Collaborate closely with DevOps, UAT, AI, system admin and data teams where required Your skills Strong expertise in REST APIs automation frameworks. Advanced coding skills in Java. Pick up any tickets related with any services fixes (there are around 50 of them) and test them using Postman / Proxyman. Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools. Experience with Git, Page Object Pattern, and CI integration best practices. Familiarity with Jenkins (preferred) and Bitrise. Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks like XCTest and Espresso is a plus. A detail-oriented, proactive mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. Professional English skills as well as German residency.
