Description As a Software Development Engineer with a focus on automation/automation technology in C# / LabVIEW, you will be part of our Automation & Software department within R&D. In close collaboration with colleagues from the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, you will be responsible for the new and ongoing development of our production stations for laser systems. Your specific tasks include: Responsibilities Developing software applications for robot-assisted laser production. Creating processes and algorithms for the alignment of optical components in laser manufacturing. Designing software modules to control various hardware components from the motion control/robotics, digital/analog I/O, and measurement technology domains. Building applications to collect and evaluate measurement and production data. Defining software architecture and the technology stack. Contributing to various project teams responsible for analyzing and introducing hardware components for the automated (micro-) assembly of optical assemblies and lasers. Profile Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field. Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g., C#, Python, TypeScript). Experience with LabVIEW, C#, and Python is desirable. Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git). Proficient in working with database systems. Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken. An analytical and structured approach to work, combined with a strong solution orientation.
