Your role design and develop electro-mechanical modules for production or metrology tools make sure, functionality, manufacturability, regulatory and economic specifications are met be responsible for the mechanical design of the modules and interfaces in the system as Module Owner or member of a project team be part of development projects with internal and external partners be responsible for sub-projects -breakdown system specifications into mechanical requirements and align with the other R&D functions test the prototypes in the laboratory or cleanroom and create the technical documentation to ensure the product's performance document and manage technical data (BOM, product requirements document, material master data) Your profile a successful degree in mechanical engineering / mechatronics / precision engineering experience in the mechanical design of complex production or metrology tools knowledge in the design of components/modules under the conditions of machine dynamics and precision mechanics knowledge in statistical analysis and interpretation of measurement data to ensure precise results experience in areas of electron microscopy and/or semiconductor technology is an advantage willingness to work hands-on in a small, inter-disciplinary team and "get it done" attitude excellent oral and written communication skills in English, command of German language is a plus Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Georgios Tanoglou
