In the »Retention of Food Quality« department, we research and detect quality changes in food and develop innovative and rapid detection methods to prevent food waste and reduce health risks (e.g., from mycotoxins). We follow the "From Farm to Fork" strategy and consider the entire value chain all the way to the consumer.
What you will do
* Support in the (experimental) design and execution of experiments and feasibility studies
* Development and validation of standard operating procedures
* Analysis and visualization of experimental data
* Operational support in exploring new research topics through detailed literature reviews
What you bring to the table
This internship is particularly relevant for those studying chemistry, food technology, food chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or a similar field.
* A careful, analytical, and reliable working style
* Team spirit and initiative
* Creativity and openness towards new ideas, as well as enthusiasm for advanced analytical methods (e.g., multi-/hyperspectral imaging)
* Preferably, knowledge of instrumental analysis (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS) and data processing

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
