Responsibilities
We are looking for a Software Engineer (all genders) to strengthen and support our Agile team. Furthermore, this position is responsible for designing and developing new security solutions for various TeamViewer products.
1. Implement and maintain technical solutions to address incident response rate, extension of security features and vulnerability disclosures of TeamViewer products
2. Ensure that our software is secure and runs efficiently on many different systems (more than 2.5 billion installations)
3. Participate in periodic secure coding training sessions with local developers
4. Work together with other development teams to improve existing security concepts
Requirements
5. A university degree in computer science or equivalent working experience
6. At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, specifically focused on security issues
7. Understanding of scalable distributed systems and different cryptography concepts
8. Willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies to follow the products technology stack
9. Passion for secure, innovative and user-friendly solutions for highly complex problems
10. Experience in any of the following fields would be desirable: Software security and vulnerabilities assessment, Web Architectures, or Programming languages such as C#, Java, or WebAssembly
11. Good knowledge of C++ and Rust is a plus
12. Experience with security protocols (TLS, SSL) would be preferable
13. Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
