Product Support Engineer (m/f/d)
Product Support Engineer develops and implements the product technical support strategy and controls the product support process. The role contributes to the product design process to ensure its supportability and is responsible for the provision of training and back-up technical support
Your role:
1. Providing support for associate products/solutions in diagnosing, troubleshooting systems and act as experts for the team inside and outside
2. Consulting with others on complex issues. Influencing functional management in the BU, local field and key customers, including R&D in CX
3. Thorough understanding of the world-wide field organization including the multiple field roles and tasks that each perform.
4. Being the champion for the support customer in the PM marketplace, specifically lowering the cost of ownership and increase customer satisfaction.
5. Building a thorough understanding and knowledge of product support/servicing processes to drive improvements
6. Challenging the status quo, developing and driving new ideas in solution support
Great, if you have the following:
7. Degree in medical informatics, applied sciences or related discipline, or equivalent professional training experience
8. Broad technical knowledge of Philips Central Station (PIC iX)and all Product Support related processes
9. Excellent troubleshooting and teamwork skills along with the ability to assess and initiate and drive corrective actions or new ideas.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
11. Demonstrated ability to handle critical customer escalations
12. Broad technical knowledge of products and clinical applications for healthcare informatics products
13. Proficiency with technologies such as: Information Systems Networks, Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, XP, Windows Server 20xx, Visual Studio, Active Directory, Relational Databases, VMWare, SANS technology, Citrix and tools for troubleshooting a variety of HW, SW and networking problems
14. Biodmedical / Hospital IT background or extensive knowledge in this area (beneficial)
15. CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWTS certification or equivalent is a plus
16. You are fluent in English & German (written and oral)
