In your new role you will:
* Be the technical lead for testing high-speed interface and digital IPs
* Develop high-speed solutions for characterization and production test
* Debug issues on ATE (Advantest V93K) and lab equipment like oscilloscopes, AWG, BERT etc.
* Interact with internal and external IP providers to solve problems and collaborate on improving future solutions
* Drive and influence internal and external requirements to maintain Infineon’s leader position in automotive microcontrollers
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support junior team members
As a Principal Test Engineer for High-Speed Interfaces, you are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and award them a high priority. Furthermore, you set yourself ambitious goals. Lastly, you are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
* At least 5 years of experience in bench equipment for debugging and characterization purposes, with at least 3 years of experience in high-speed protocols like PCIe, SGMII, physical implementations, 3rd party IP vendors
* 3 years of experience in production test for high-speed functional blocks, optimization in test time and yield for optimal test cost and at least 5 years of experience in C++ SMT7 production test development on 93k ATE
* Understanding the importance of time to market albeit providing automotive quality
* Have a passion to develop novel, innovative and time-efficient test solutions for high-speed interfaces at best cost meeting automotive quality
* Good communication skills to harmonize inputs from pre-verification, char, production test and validation
* Excellent English skills
* Immediate start date availability: We are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible
