Key Responsibilities: Build and deploy the TestBench, TestBench++, and TrainLab to meet defined test scopes and project needs. Continuously improve lab documentation and technical functional configurations. Develop specific models and integrate external modeling inputs from suppliers, participating units, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with laboratory tool configurations for planned tests. Configure and maintain lab test setups, including both hardware and software, for efficient testing execution. Manage configuration tasks in accordance with project requirements. Perform operational maintenance of the TestBench and TrainLab to ensure consistent performance. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience. Experience in testing, validation, and commissioning processes, preferably in the rail or transportation sector. Proficiency in lab test configurations, including hardware and software integration. Knowledge of configuration management tools and practices. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Familiarity with train systems and related technical standards. Preferred Skills: Hands on experience with laboratory tools and modeling techniques. Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and external suppliers. Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting. Location Requirements: On site involvement in Salzgitter and other specified project locations as required.
