Role Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Product Engineer SIHI Dry/Boost System (M/F/T) for the R&D team PE vacuum SIHI dry/boost products. In this role, you will significantly be involved in the design and product maintenance of the standard SIHI dry and boost systems.
1. Mechanical design of standard SIHI dry and boost systems according to defined guidelines and standards.
2. Contact person for order engineering for technical questions concerning standard products.
3. Carrying out and evaluating necessary calculations for optimum component design, e.g., for piping, separators, base frames, etc., in cooperation with GTEC.
4. Coordination of quality notifications in terms of drawings, master data, and BOMs.
5. Application of design engineering principles regarding standardized modules, configurability, and design in line with function and production requirements.
6. Execution of FMEA's and risk assessments for the designed products.
7. Preparation and review of the documents required for the standard products including accessories, such as material master data, parts lists, 3D models, and 2D drawings in cooperation with GTEC.
8. Preparation of documentation for the designed standard systems (operating instructions and service instructions) in cooperation with GTEC.
9. Cross-departmental clarification of problems, e.g., quality issues.
10. Execution of further product engineering tasks and projects according to the specifications of the product management, projects, and coordination of the supporting GTEC resources.
11. Product standardization and rationalization as dictated by the operating model and development priorities.
12. Creation of work instructions, quality plans, technical specifications, and supply chain support.
Your Profile:
1. Completed university degree in mechanical engineering or comparable.
2. Ideally several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
3. Depth knowledge of ERP, PLM (SAPR3, Windchill), and CAD.
4. Knowledge about FEM simulations.
5. Depth knowledge of MS-Office applications.
6. Team player with a high level of personal responsibility.
7. Excellent written and spoken English/German skills.
