Position Summary
In this position, you will be responsible for customer technical support for on-going projects. You will be working with Samsung Processors & Companion devices for Automotive Business which are leaders in the Automotive industry. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, as this position will have direct contact with customers.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Conduct technical meetings with customers in order to promote new products and address technical issues
2. Conduct technical meetings with customers along with customers' Way of Working
3. Deliver product roadmaps, features, and value propositions to customers
4. Track projects and anticipate customer's requests
5. Identify and communicate current and future customer needs and customers technical requirements
6. Drive development and quality teams to fulfil customers' requirements
7. Provide technical supports throughout the product lifecycle from promotion phase to the end of production
8. Responsible for testing, debugging, delivering, guiding, documenting on SW deliverables
9. Software deliverables are device drivers or libraries in bootloader, Hypervisor, QNX, Linux, Android, and mostly in C programming language
10. Technical support can be remote support or on-site support at customers' locations
11. Work closely with other HW/SW FAEs, with marketing team and with engineering team from all over the world in resolving customer issues
12. Conduct training of sales and marketing employees (product; technology; process; packaging; systems)
Skills and Qualifications
13. Master of Science degree or equivalent in electronics, physics or related areas
14. 5 to 10 years of technical experience in semiconductor. Ideally in SoC SW development or SoC customer supports
15. Experience in embedded system, C language, device driver or middleware in Linux/Android
16. Experience with Automotive Hardware and board bring up activity
17. Experience in Bootloader, QNX, Yocto, C++, Python and Java is a strong plus
18. Experience in Agile process, DevOps, CI/CD is a strong plus
19. Self-starter with ability to work under minimum supervision
20. Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality
21. Strong customer orientation
22. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
23. Persuasive and professional presentation skills
24. Very good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
25. Very good written and spoken English – additional languages are a plus
26. Experience in Automotive Semiconductor business is a strong plus
