Job Description: Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Quality Engineer for Eurofighter, Tornado & FCAS Software and Avionic Projects (d/f/m) As Quality Engineer (Engineering Quality Manager) you will play a key role in our organization by acting as the guardian of conformity and customer quality requirements and expectations, leading quality aspects along the product development lifecycle and in service support. You will be part of a dynamic international team and will be in direct contact with our Customers and Suppliers. As Quality Engineer for Software and Avionic Projects you will be responsible for the quality aspects of the Airbus DS Military Aircrafts System, Software and Hardware within projects developed in-house and/or by our suppliers. Monitoring, control and development of internal and external suppliers to ensure fulfillment and adherence to the customer requirements and applicable processes/procedures Identify Quality issues during the development and in-service phases, analyse the root cause, define the mitigation/prevention/correction actions and ensure effective closure, including preparation of the required documentation and reporting of these activities. Preparing and leading quality discussions with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. with customer, supplier, certification authorities,) Definition and monitoring of quality KPIs ensuring implementation of continuous improvement measures according to the relevant standards and project particularities Release of products, test equipment and quality related documentation Contribution to and performance of internal and external product-related audits Provide guidance and training on standards, quality assurance and best practices to internal and external stakeholders. YOUR PROFILE University degree in Electrical/Software/ Aerospace/Electrotechnical Engineering or equivalent At least 3 years of working experience Experience with System/Software/Hardware development lifecycles Experience in Qualification/Certification of Software/ Complex Electronic Hardware Experience in Quality within Development/Design environments Experience with A/C development standards (e.g. DO-178, DO-278, DO-254, DO-330,) Experience with Aircraft and in particular with the Eurofighter, Tornado or other Weapon Systems, are welcomed Language skills: business fluent English, German would be a plus Not a 100% match?
