Become part of our motivated and multidisciplinary team for the development of industrial steam turbine blading. With global product responsibility in the industrial steam turbine network, our team is based at the Görlitz and Mülheim an der Ruhr locations.You will work on the design and optimization of high-, medium- and low-pressure steam turbine blades. Design the roadmap for the further development of blading and the necessary technologies with us. The large number of interfaces to other areas such as purchasing, production, assembly, order processing, offers and sales give you exciting insights into our company. How You’ll Make an Impact
10. You are part of the product and technology development for the complete blading path of industrial steam turbines
11. The focus of your work is the thermodynamic and mechanical design and optimization of high-pressure and medium-pressure steam turbine blades
12. You will also create and evaluate the sealing concepts and thus contribute to increasing the efficiency of the turbine
13. You define and develop calculation rules and algorithms for the blading of our industrial steam turbines
14. When implementing your technical solutions in the design software, you will work hand in hand with our software development team
15. By working closely with our internal customers, such as the development, quotation and design departments, you record the requirements for the technology and software and incorporate them into the development
What You Bring
16. University degree in the field of turbomachinery, aerospace, energy technology or a comparable degree
17. Many years of professional experience in the field of turbomachinery with in-depth knowledge of the design and optimization of high-pressure and medium-pressure blading and the design of seals
18. Expertise in the fields of aerodynamics, thermodynamics and/or the structural mechanical design of the blading
19. Knowledge in the development of technical software (algorithms, modern programming techniques and languages such as C++, C#, FORTRAN)
20. You enjoy working in a dynamic team with transparent and open communication
21. Proficient in German and English
