Your Responsibilities As a Data Engineer (m/f/d) you will play a key role in the development of our Lakehouse architecture, as well as in implementing and maintaining various Data Pipelines based on Databricks. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, implementing, and administering the target data architecture using Databricks to ensure a scalable and robust Data Platform. You work with a variety of data sources and technologies to integrate and process data efficiently and reliably. Conducting requirement analysis, planning priorities, and implementing data modeling tasks for reporting and analytical needs alongside stakeholders. You implement and maintain our ETL/ELT pipelines within the current cloud-based Data Warehouse infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Continuously enhancing processes to improve data quality, performance, and compliance. What you need to succeed You have hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark In addition, you are proficient in Python and SQL and ideally have experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud). With professional experience in the field of data processing, you focus on data integration and transformation. You have experience in data analytics, reporting and related tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI). Strong team spirit is required, as well as the willingness to coach and support other team members in the data domain. Fluency in English, both written and spoken; basic knowledge of German is a plus. Knowledge in the field of Data Science or Machine Learning is a plus.
