Job Description
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing secure, data-driven patient management applications alongside a cutting-edge Software Development Kit for medical applications. In this role, you will take full responsibility for the engineering aspects of our products, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and performance.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating and contributing in the active development of patient data management applications/services and associated software toolkits, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with applicable industry standards.
* Translating clinical and technical requirements into robust, scalable software solutions that meet the Product Owner’s requirements .
* Participating in design reviews and conducting functional tests to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation in line with company standards.
* Collaborating with internal partners such as Quality Management, Usability & Design and Cybersecurity to ensure regulatory compliance and effective solution delivery.
* Taking full responsibility for defined products, from idea generation through development to release and delivery
* Continuously enhance product quality and drive innovation.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in (Medical) Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in a project engineering or similar technical role in a strongly regulated environment such as med-tech.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot and analyze technical issues.
* Strong ability and willingness to understand technical terms and concepts in software development, systems engineering, and related fields.
* Experience in working with hospital IT solutions and good understanding of clinical end-user needs.
* Expertise in DICOM and FHIR, as well as a strong understanding of medical applications used in clinical environments, is highly desirable.
* Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
* Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
