For a project building a state-of-the-art Liquid Launch Factory near Mainz, Germany, we’re looking for a Senior Construction Manager with experience in Aseptic Fill & Finish (NCE & NBE formulations for injectable products). The new facility will be will be part of the Launch & Innovation unit. The design must enable a flexible and agile setup focusing on the evolving development approach (back loading, fast to market, etc.). Together with the HP Supply network it shall allow us to spread our fill & finish capabilities over various facilities around the world, creating technology competencies in hubs while mitigating location associated risks. Main responsibilities: Provide high standard construction management services from basic design to implementation of the preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and project closeout phases with an emphasis on maintaining project controls and completing the project in a timely, cost effective, and quality-oriented manner. Negotiate, coordinate, and direct work of subcontractors, and develop strong working relationships with general contractor personnel, subcontractors, inspectors, and other related parties. Analyze the current CM team organization, meeting plans and project execution processes and implement efficient and lean practices Develop Construction Execution Plan Preparation and participation in Steering Committee update meetings Perform and Transfer Health-Check (Status report) into tangible actions, i.e., analyze available report, identify actions for closing the gap and develop mitigation plan Implement Interface Management Process (internal & external) including Change Management Processes and associated reporting for decision making Ideal candidate: Languages: Fluency in German and proficient in English (written, spoken) Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction with emphasis in complex, fast‐ track, or phased project delivery. Experience in the pharmaceutical Project Execution experience in different Contract Models e.g. EPC, EPCM, LS, UR, T&M High degree of demonstrated organizational skills and problem‐solving ability, specifically the ability to access resources inside and outside of the company.
