Story so far
Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

We’re doing things differently.
Your role: You will manage the product and process maturity of our projects by providing continuously transparency on the level of maturity and the critical paths in the project timelines for all relevant project members, in case of deviations appropriate actions will be defined and implemented. You´ll have a close collaboration with Programm Management and Engineering on timeline, milestones and product reviews as well as with business partner in Engineering, Operations, Procurement, SCM, SQE and Commercial plus external services providers (approx. 3)
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1. Provide Quality knowledge for the (further) Development of a product development process which represents the company´s / the product´s and the customers needs
2. Ensure the product quality criteria in project phase
3. Responsibility for the (quality) risk management in the projects
4. Definition and alignment of product standards to achieve the Quality KPIs in the projects
5. Plan, organize and conduct product/quality reviews of new projects, define and review measures in case of deviation
6. Create transparency of the critical path in the overall timelines ( Engineering, operations, procurement, logistics, …) of new product projects, define measure to hit the project milestones
7. Escalation of main (quality) risks in new product projects to line manager
8. Initiate design to quality, risk and maturity measures to ensure product quality and to safeguard our (quality) KPIs (key performance indicators)
9. Conduct quality assessments for product and process topics during project phase, represent the quality and product standards in new product projects
10. Coordination Quality approval and release
11. Create, align and provide maturity reports to the management on a regular basis
What we are looking for:
12. Technical degree in engineering or similar studies
13. min. 3-5 years experience in Quality Management and in Automotive Industry - especially in the field of automotive new product projects (either in strategy, engineering, operations or quality)
14. Professional experience in the field of launch process and/or product development processes in automotive industry
15. Ability to create new quality standards and project KPIs
16. High technical understanding in automotive industry
17. High empathy and very good communication skill, motivation skill and enthusiastic capacity – ability to adapt to diverse people and situations
18. High organizational skills and result orientation
19. Assertiveness, diplomacy, moderation skills
20. Good analytical thinking
21. Pragmatism and a good understanding of lean principals
22. Very good English skills
23. Willingness to travel for business trips
