The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application Job Description As a development engineer you will drive and control innovative technology developments for complex micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) for inertial sensors and new business fields. Your responsibilities include the implementation of development goals as part of a team of specialists. At the core, you will develop wafer processes and equipment for high volume manufacturing of micromechanical products (conceptual and in clean room). Moreover, you will utilize new semiconductor technologies, materials and equipment and perform both technical and economic evaluation of the feasibility of new processes. Coordination of internal interfaces in development and manufacturing to develop new solutions and control their implementation from pre-development until product development will be in your area of responsibility. Last but not least you will cooperate with research institutes on basic development and supplier on tool developments and manage quality assessments and process releases. Qualifications Education: completed university studies (master's degree/diploma/PhD) in engineering, physics, microsystem technology, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study Experience and Knowledge: several years of experience in research or development of innovative semiconductor and MEMS technology; very good knowledge of semiconductor technology and experience with manufacturing equipment including analytical methods; excellent understanding of physical and chemical principles and correlations; experienced in handling data analysis Personality and Working Practice: proactive, motivated, autonomous, structured, systematic, responsible, team player, solution- and goal-oriented Languages: very good in English and German written and spoken Application deadline up to and including 6th of January 2025. In accordance with our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position is at least 84.000 EUR for a 35h week (for a full year of employment and fulfillment of the eligibility requirements based on collective agreements) in the case of a comprehensive execution of job requirements.
