Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, manage, and maintain data center equipment, including servers, network devices, and storage systems, as well as handle cabling.
* Monitor the operational status and environment of data center equipment to ensure the optimal performance of servers, networks, and other critical infrastructure.
* Promptly address equipment issues and abnormalities by conducting fault diagnosis and problem resolution.
* Perform regular inspections to maintain the security and stability of the data center's operations.
* Manage records of rack usage within the data center, maintaining accurate documentation of rack utilization and asset inventory.
* Collaborate with other teams to assist in technical pre-sales support, conduct data center tours, and address post-sales inquiries.
* Coordinate with external vendors to facilitate the smooth installation, configuration, and repair of equipment.
* Support operations and maintenance across various Points of Presence (POP) locations, assisting with the delivery and testing of the company’s communication network products.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications or a related field from a German university; familiarity with relevant products or internship experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
* Strong learning ability with attention to detail, proactive approach, critical thinking skills, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
* Fluent in English and German, excellent communication skills.
* Proficient in commonly used computer software.
