Principal Power Electronics Engineer - Computing Systems
A market leader in innovative solutions within Digital Power Technology is searching for a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to join their team of experts at their state of the art R&D centre. You would be leading the development of technical solutions for next generation DC/DC power module and power architecture for computing.
Your mission
1. Develop technical solutions for the next-generation DC/DC power module and power architecture for computing.
2. Plan and establish collaborations with international external R&D institutes and universities.
3. Lead and execute the development of power supply patents.
4. Build up competitive strength in the computing power supply market.
5. Handle high-efficiency, high-power-density DC/DC power module project analysis, including technical insight, design, and innovation.
Your areas of expertise
1. Master's degree in power electronics or a related field with knowledge of power supply or power module design.
2. Experience in the field of computing power systems and their related power system development direction.
3. Proficient in computing power system or other XPU power systems and familiar with their research status and trends in the industry.
4. Possess a wealth of knowledge in on-board DC/DC power module design, DC/DC converter topologies, control algorithms, and magnetic integration design.
5. Experience in organization and coordination.
6. Fluent in written and spoken English.
Preferred:
1. Doctorate in the field of power electronics.
2. Additional knowledge of IC design or Power Module design for GPU/CPU, etc.
3. Additional knowledge of XPU PDN design and PI/SI design is a plus.
4. Successful experience in the mass production of power module designs for Intel, AMD, NVIDIA or ARM XPU platforms, etc.
