The opportunity As a Student Electrical Engineer at GEMESYS, you will be working closely with the concept team to drive forward the research and development (R&D) of our analog AI technology. You will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, collaborating with excellent specialists to develop the foundational technology for new AI solutions in various industries such as healthcare, space, energy, and robotics. Your role As a Student Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in modeling and simulating electrical circuits using SPICE and MATLAB. Your tasks can be summarized as follows: Develop and design circuits using industry-standard tools and software. Utilize MATLAB- and SPICE-based simulations to analyze and optimize circuit performance. Collaborate with the hardware and software team to ensure the successful implementation of circuit designs. Troubleshoot and debug MATLAB/python code to enhance the efficiency of rapid prototyping processes. Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance project outcomes. What you bring We are seeking a dynamic and motivated student assistant to join our concept team developing novel electrical circuits for AI applications utilizing emerging technologies. Currently enrolled in a master’s program in Electrical Engineering, preferably with specialization in electronics, high-frequency technology, or control theory. Experience with designing, modeling, and simulating electrical circuits. Experience in SPICE-based simulations is a plus. Experience in using MATLAB and/or python for simulation and optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication and a team player.
