LSE Space GmbH is looking for a Senior Spacecraft Operations Engineer (f/m/d), with expertise on the Attitude and Orbit Control subsystem, for the operations preparation and execution of Interplanetary missions.
In line with security requirements, the candidate has to hold an EU citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.
What you´ll do
* Participation in ground segment development and testing activities (MCS, MPS, Simulator, etc)
* Definition and production of the Flight Operations Plan
* Preparation and validation of Flight Control and Contingency Procedures
* Definition of On-Board Software Maintenance Concept
* Definition and planning of mission phases
* Preparation of routine operations
* Preparation and conduction of training campaigns
* Participation in simulation campaigns
* Operations Execution, including shift and on-call support
* Support to Space and Ground Segment anomaly investigation and resolution
* Trend and performance analysis
* Identification and support to implementation of system and process improvement
What we are looking for
* Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or other relevant field
* Proven expertise in Attitude and Orbit Control subsystems, with experience in the operation preparation tasks (FOP preparation and validation).
* Proven and demonstrated experience in the development and validation of the Flight Operations Segment
* Fluency in English, both in speaking and writing
* Strong team player
* Highly motivated and autonomous
