Software Engineering Manager - AI & Data
Position Overview:
Transform how leading professional services firms deliver value through technology. You will drive the technical vision for our enterprise data solutions while leading a talented team of engineers building cloud-native, data-intensive applications. Working closely with Product, Design, and technical stakeholders, you'll shape architecture decisions and champion engineering excellence across our distributed systems landscape.
As an experienced technical leader, you'll mentor and grow engineering talent while fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration. This role offers the opportunity to make significant impact by evolving our data processing capabilities and expanding our use of modern technologies including Python, Kafka, Databricks, and Azure cloud services.
What you will do:
* Facilitate technical strategy and execution for engineering, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure enterprise solutions.
* Moderate architecture decisions and technology selection to support our data-intensive applications.
* Mentor and grow engineering talent while fostering an innovative, collaborative culture.
* Partner with Product and Design to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
* Champion engineering excellence through best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
* Manage resource planning, sprint execution, and technical debt remediation.
What you will need:
* 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years managing engineering teams.
* Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
* Strong technical background in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and API design.
* Track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
* Background in large-scale data processing and analytics.
* Experience in the team’s core tech stack: Python, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Databricks, and Spark, etc.
Nice to haves:
* Experience with professional services or financial services domain.
* Knowledge of data privacy and security in regulated industries.
* Background in AI or data science.
