Your tasks
1. Responsible for ensuring installation packages of worldwide installation projects are in line with requirements and quality standards.
2. Control calculations and assumptions from bid and ensure realistic field service practices.
3. Adjust FMEA for the specific project and participate in design reviews.
4. Provide feedback to the dispatch department on any disruptions that may occur.
5. Assist with all technical and organizational site issues.
6. Improve equipment designs and mitigate any risks that may arise during installation and commissioning.
Your profile
7. Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable. Several years of experience in the assembly, assembly supervision and/or commissioning of power plant components, ideally in the field of hydropower, are a must.
8. Experience in quality and risk management as well as in dealing with assembly personnel and assembly equipment is a plus.
9. An open-minded nature and a confident manner in dealing with customers, suppliers and other project participants as well as a high sense of responsibility.
10. Very good English is required for this position. Further foreign language knowledge such as German, Portuguese and/or Spanish are an advantage.
11. Good MS-Office skills are a must.
12. Willingness to travel worldwide on business (approx. - %) and short construction site assignments.
