As a Senior Process Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop the technical concept and the necessary adjustments at the CMO site to enable a successful technology transfer and the production of filaments within the specified range. You will combine AMSilk's existing expertise with CMO's production know-how to cover the entire filament production process. You will be responsible for coordinating projects, concepts and strategies within AMSilk and the CMOs.
Your responsibility and impact within AMSilk company means to:
* Develop and implement innovative manufacturing processes, methods and equipment to meet the high quality requirements of AMSilk's silk fibers in the lab
* Manage investment projects on CMO & Partners production lines
* Prepare and update manufacturing documentation including process flows, standard operating procedures, build specifications, control plans and equipment operating instructions at CMO
* Manage technology and process transfer
* Develop quality related processes, equipment, gauges and documentation for CMO
* Prepare and update investment documentation including concepts, product and process requirements, functional requirements, risk assessments at CMO
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement appropriate solutions in coordination with relevant departments
Your areas of knowledge and expertise are:
* Master of Science in Mechanical, Industrial or Process Engineering (FH/Uni) or comparable qualification
* Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering with knowledge of equipment and plant design and construction
* Experience in concept, basic & detail engineering in pilot and/or large capital projects
* Experience in construction, commissioning & start-up of production plants in the chemical fiber industry, high volume industries or similar fields
* Experience of participating in a product development team from inception to manufacturing launch
* Experience in working with EPC & EPCM contractors is an advantage
* Experience in wet spinning of textile fibers is an advantage
* PLC integration and automation experience/ability is an advantage
