1. serve as the person of contact for all Battery tests and manage the complete process of testing from requirements breakdown & concept development to test execution & data processing
2. setup and execute tests of small- and large-scale prototypes and provide valuable input for electrical, thermal, and mechanical battery engineers as well as for production
3. work with multi mega-watt battery systems, plan tests and align with the stakeholders and plan and setup labs and lab equipment
4. work closely with other integration engineers, particularly battery development
5. analyse test data and interpret the results and are responsible for the planning, setup, and maintenance of test spaces and equipment
6. are responsible for the design and operation of test benches for testing of electrical, electro-chemical, electro-mechanical components, including battery abuse tests
7. test the components for electrical and thermal performance, mechanical, abuse, crash and environmental behavior
8. coordinate, prepare and execute tests of battery cells, modules, and packs as well as electric parts and components according to CS-23, DO-160, DO-311 and other standards, in-house and with partners
9. provide critical feedback to relevant stakeholders (proposals for design changes, process adaptations, software bugfixes, etc.)
10. support the production planning and end-of-line test setup and work on ad hoc related tasks or projects provided by management
11. work with the BMS system and test bench software and are creating post-mortem analysis and creating reports

YOU...
12. have a MSc,, PhD or equivalent degree in electrical/power/mechatronics engineering or a related field
13. have strong knowledge of working in electrical labs and good practice of testing
14. have solid hands-on experience in working with battery Systems
15. have knowledge of BMS Functions, CAN Systems and general Test Bench Software
16. have experience in electrical and battery testing equipment like high power supplies and loads, data acquisition systems, battery test systems
17. are experienced in the use of battery module and battery system testing equipment (AVL, Kratzer, Basytec or similar)
18. have ideally EFK +AuS status/experience (Level 3E according to DGUV 209-093) for HV-systems or similar hands on experience
19. have knowledge of battery systems, particularly Li-ion batteries and ideally experience in the automotive or aerospace field
20. have fluent English or German language skills
