LevertonHELM manufactures a range of inorganic Lithium chemicals which are sold throughout the world. It is now expanding rapidly due to the growth of the Lithium-ion battery sector and has an excellent reputation for reliability and providing high quality products. Due to a major project commencing we are seeking an experienced Senior Project & Process Manager. The role will require frequent travel to Spain. Main tasks & Objectives: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Perform risk management to minimise project risks. Report and escalate issues to management as needed. Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders. Analyse existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Design and implement process enhancements to improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and constraints. Monitor and measure process performance post-implementation to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. Manage Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) projects from conception through completion. Oversee the planning, design, procurement, and construction phases, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution. Develop, manage and lead plant commissioning and start-up activities, ensuring all constraints from safety, production and engineering are fulfilled. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during commissioning and start-up. Responsibility to transfer the chemical process development of refining and recycling into industrial processes as well as to to set up, structure and manage the linked investment project(s) accordingly. Creating a culture of engineering excellence (with the internal and external teams) which drives value through highly effective teams and a comprehensive risk management to increase efficiency, reduce cost, accelerate programs and ensure quality. Knowledge & Experience Demonstrable experience of progressively advanced duties at Senior Engineering level. Expert knowledge in all phases of an engineering investment project incl. commissioning and stabilisation Experience in working together with EPCM and Process Feed companies in substantial projects. Experience in the owners team role to manage and drive the progress in project execution. Good business understanding. Proven knowledge in CAPEX planning, including financial business planning. Ability to assess risk, prioritise efforts and take effective decisions across a broad and technically complex portfolio of work. Proven ability to lead, manage and develop a high functioning, multi national, diverse and inclusive teams. Broad and profound inorganic process knowledge. In particular in areas such as crystallization, refining, purification and drying. Strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to help define a vision for the future to set clear expectations. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external functional areas and stakeholders.
