About the Role:
As a Junior HR Generalist based in our Prague office, you will play a vital role in supporting the employee lifecycle for our colleagues in Germany. You will be a key point of contact for employees based in Germany, focusing on areas such as benefits, maternity/parental leave, and various other employee inquiries. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical HR experience in a dynamic, international environment, focusing on the German market while working within our Prague team. You will also have the chance to contribute to HR projects, supporting digital transformation and continuous process improvement within HR, collaborating with colleagues across locations.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the full employee lifecycle for employees based in Germany, including onboarding, contract management, personnel data administration, and offboarding processes, with a particular focus on benefits administration, maternity/parental leave, and other employee inquiries.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HR systems (including SAP SuccessFactors and S4Hana) for German employees.
3. Initiate, support, and ensure compliance with German regulations, including legal and social security requirements.
4. Support pre- and post-payroll activities, coordinating with payroll specialists for German payroll.
5. Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, payroll colleagues, and other functional teams in HR to provide excellent service to our employees in Germany.
6. Manage the setup and transition of HR processes and systems related to German employees.
7. Actively contribute to the development and implementation of global HR initiatives and digital solutions, with a focus on the German market.
8. Continuously improve and develop operational procedures relating to HR support for German employees.
Qualifications:
9. Completed university degree or equivalent, focusing on Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
10. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; prior internship or HR-related experience is a plus.
11. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are desirable.
12. Digital mindset with the ability to adapt easily to changing environments.
13. Strong teamwork, flexibility, creativity, analytical thinking, self-responsibility, resilience, and reliability.
14. High commitment, motivation, and a pronounced customer orientation.
15. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
16. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English and German. Fluency in German is essential for this role.
