Within the Hospital Care division, we are looking for an electrical designer (f/m/d) for the Manufacturing Systems team of the B. Braun Technology Center, the internal technology service provider of the B. Braun Group, at the Melsungen location as soon as possible.
The Manufacturing Systems division creates machines and production systems for B. Braun Group plants worldwide. The core competencies of the Automation Group extend over the entire life cycle of these systems. From conception to technical service. The Control Technology Team plays a key role in designing the control technology of these machines and is a decisive success factor in the creation of machines and production systems.
Tasks and responsibilities:
* You plan and create the electrical design for the control technology of production systems for plants of the B. Braun Group
* In the respective projects, you select the electrical and pneumatic components, create detailed and standard-compliant installation documents such as circuit and pneumatic plans, parts lists, assembly and terminal plans
* You identify technology trends and establish standards or develop new technical solution approaches
* You create concepts for new machines and systems with regard to the control technology design, observing applicable guidelines and standards, taking customer wishes and the optimal solution into account
* You contribute to the preparation of offers and specifications and to the preparation of technical documentation, as well as risk and hazard analyses from the perspective of the electrical design
* You design safety technology (performance level) and check it using our software SISTEMA
Professional Competencies:
* You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable courses of study, alternatively, you posses a state certification as a technician
* Ideally, you have some professional experience in electrical design and pneumatic circuitry, and professional experience in the field of special machines is particularly welcome.
* Ideally, you have experience in the implementation of various concepts relating to the handling, assembly and testing of products/components.
* You have good knowledge of how to use the CAD software E-Plan P8.
* Knowledge of the currently valid machinery directive DIN EN 60204-1 and VDE0113, as well as other standards for control cabinet construction/special machine construction add to your skillset
* You have good written and spoken German and English skills.
* Good knowledge of how to use MS Office is a given for you.
